Salaam Said Al Shaksy (born 1961) is a member of the Council of State of Oman (Majlis al-Dawla)〔()〕 where he serves as deputy head of the Economic Committee〔()〕, and the CEO of alizz islamic bank〔()〕. Al Shaksy is also currently the Chairman of Oman’s Investment Stabilization Fund, Chairman of The Shaksy Group, member of the Board of Directors; member of the Board of Executive Committee and Chairman of the Tender Committee of Al Rafd Fund (Oman’s Government funded SME fund); and a Board & Audit Committee member of Oman Oil Company and an Advisory Council Member in the Sultan Qaboos University (SQU’s) College of Economics & Political Science. Al Shaksy has had over 25 years of experience in finance, investments, treasury management, credit administration and financial control. Prior to Alizz, Al Shaksy served as Chief Executive Officer of National Bank of Oman between 2010 and 2014, leading its turnaround and transformation during this period.
